Greetings. It’s been an up and down week as far as pain goes, but a wonderful week of prayer, praise, seeking the Lord and sensing His presence. Hallelujah! Your prayers, notes, emails and calls continue to be a great strength and encouragement to me. Thank you all so much.
Linda Iverson had a cyberknife (or gammaknife) radiation treatment on Friday. I just received this message from her: “The treatment went well. It is just like getting an x-ray, no pain. I was flat on my back for 50 minutes and my back stiffened up pretty bad. That was the hard part. After the treatment I had a consult with Dr. Lee, he showed me pictures of the area they treated, and patiently answered all my questions. I told him I attend the church you pastor. His face lit up when I asked if he remember you, he did, and he asked how you are doing. Thanks for the prayers. Love and blessings, Linda”
Tomorrow, Sunday March 7, marks to the day 22 years Joyce and I have served Christ Center. It will also be my first Sunday to bring the message since the week before the tumor was discovered and removed, nearly 3 months ago. I am very much looking forward to it. Hope to see you all there in the morning. Come early for powerful worship led by Erik Pheasant. Be in prayer and expect the Spirit to move in your life. Amen.
